This policy explains what personal information Building Construction Company Uganda collects through this website, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it and how you can ask us to delete it. We follow Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
Who we are
Building Construction Company Uganda (“we”, “us”) runs this website. You can reach us at info@buildingconstructioncompanyuganda.com or +256 791 793805.
What we collect
When you send a quote request or a contact message, we collect what you type into the form:
- your name, phone number and, if you give them, your WhatsApp number and email address;
- details about your project, such as its type, location, size, stage, budget and timeline, and any message you write;
- the page you submitted the form from and, if you arrived through a campaign link, the campaign details in that link.
We do not ask for payment details or identity documents on this website.
Why we collect it
We use this information to reply to your request, prepare a quote and contact you about your project. We do not use it for anything unrelated and we do not sell it.
Who sees it
Your request is saved in our database and read by our team. We also use a few services to run the website:
- Our email service sends us an alert when a request arrives. The alert contains the details you submitted.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is filled in by a person and not a bot. When a page with a form loads, your browser loads a script from Cloudflare, and when you send the form it sends Cloudflare a verification request that includes your IP address and basic browser details.
- Our hosting and database providers store the site and its data on our behalf.
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It does not receive what you type into our forms.
We share your details with others only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and contact messages for up to 24 months, then delete them.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email info@buildingconstructioncompanyuganda.com or call +256 791 793805 and tell us the phone number or email address you used on the form. We will confirm once it has been deleted.
Cookies
The site itself does not need cookies to work. If analytics is switched on, it may set cookies to count visits.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and its last-updated date.
